haku is a former hidden mist nin from an advance bloodline. haku is very beautiful. as naruto puts it, he's even cuter than sakura. he has a feminine face, complete with lashes and cute red lips. i suspect that he's wearing make-up but then it could be just kishimoto-san's style. however i'm quite sure that he does wear make-up. check out the colored front of the 29th chapter. and... he wears nail polish. check out the cover of volume 3. i have a very strong feeling that haku is gay but he just doesn't know it ^ ^;. haku has beautiful long, glossy, black hair. beautiful seems to be the only appropriate word to describe haku, physically that is.

more than that, haku is an extremely powerful shinobi that even zabuza himself admits he can't defeat. he is already at jounin level at a young age. haku was born in a snowy village. the early years of his childhood were happy ones. when the civil war came to the water country, people started hating people of advance bloodlines. since these people have special abilities, they were used as weapons. hence, the clans with advance bloodline were then blamed for causing misfortune and wars. after the war, the clans had to keep their special abilities a secret for when discovered, they will just be killed. when haku's father discovered that his mother was of an advance blood, he killed her. and he wanted to kill haku too. at that time haku realized the most painful thing in the world...he was unwanted.
